Market Highlights

We’re always hunting for new introductions at the furniture and accessory markets.  The following are the highlights of what we found most recently!

Market Highlights - lamps 1

At the Mr. Brown Showroom, the ladies spotted several nice lamps - can you find some of the ones they chose in this picture?

We spotted several nice lamps.  The display at the Mr. Brown showroom was particularly well done.

Furniture highlights included unique chair backs and decorative pull-up tables.

These tables are all unique, but the chest was one of the best reproduction chests we've ever seen. It was beautiful in person!

While all these designs are beautiful and unique, the best finds was the reproduction mahogany chest – it looks as much like an antique as any we have seen.

Pops of color and metallic gold make these accessories sophisticated.

All In A Day’s Work

Do you wonder what we go through in a day on just one job site? On any given installation, we rearrange furniture, place existing accessories, hang artwork … just about anything to help the client settle in. Some jobs are completely finished while others continue to be a work in progress. Recently I have installed  several rooms in different clients’ homes that have made a huge difference.

Everyone Loves A Makeover

 

IMG_0520-1Have we really been working on this together for almost 30 years?

My client and I had a laugh over how time has flown and how trends have changed.  Considering an extensive (and overdue) makeover, we traveled from room to room as we inventoried each piece of furniture, recounting which year and which house each piece was purchased.  Sofa from the ’80′s.  Chairs from the ’90′s.  You get the idea.
