Our client was unhappy with the overall, unfinished and cold feeling of her patio home, but didn’t know what to add to make it warm and pretty.
We started by adding silk draperies which accentuate the high ceilings and dress up the plain windows. We also installed a larger rug and glass coffee table which define the conversation area. The old throw rug and coffee table transitioned wonderfully to her basement game room.
Large scale embroidered pillows add color to her existing sofa, while an aqua club chair and raspberry occasional chair provide more seating and welcome accents of color.
In the dining room, which is open to the living room, the small chandelier was dwarfed by the large space and was hung off center in the room, making it awkward and cramped. The new, larger chandelier centered in the space has opened up the room and connected it to the overall living area.
