Technology and Televisions

I came along at the end of the baby boom generation.  It doesn’t take much to imagine the television of my childhood.  That huge TV, with tan canvas speaker cloth and faux walnut cabinetry, was the focus of the den.  And its a good thing we had shag carpet, because it made lying on the floor comfortable and convenient for reaching the dial  No remote, three channels, and lots of memories

What’s In Your Backyard?

This was my garage.  You know the kind.  The ones that have never held a car – only the junk that accumulates (and multiplies) over time.  Boxes of nothing important.  Poorly organized yard equipment and a variety of weekend warrior supplies.  Always daydreaming, always in search of another never-to-be-completed project, I would stare at the beamed ceiling, old brick walls, proximity to the patio and think…this space was way too cool to waste on paint cans.

We’re In It For Keeps

While we certainly keep up with the latest trends in design, we strive for our work to stand the test of time.  A project with continued success and recognition is good for our clients and is immensely satisfying to us as well.

In Charleston, South Carolina, the Wentworth Mansion, and its restaurant Circa 1886, continue to be recognized for their excellence even though we completed these projects over a decade ago.
