A Cleaner, Fresher Look

When my clients purchased their vacation home, they asked me to help them take the living room in a different direction from the existing scheme.  We knew immediately that we should paint all of the stained woodwork and cabinets a soft white.  That instantly lightened up the room as did the new wall color and furnishings.  A much cleaner, fresher look!

AFTER – As you can see, the changes made a big impact in the style of this room.

A Red, White & Blue “Big Boy” Bedroom

Happy Fourth of July!

It’s always a treat when I have the opportunity to design a child’s room.  And, what better room to show you on the Fourth of July than this red, white and blue bedroom I designed for my client’s son.

I used crisp white washable bedding, whimsical star wallpaper and a Paddington Bear print fabric to add as much personality to the room as it’s three year old occupant!

You’re never too young to have a Pulliam Morris bedroom!  He is sure to love his new “Big Boy” room as much as we do!

Decorating for a Special Day

Many event venues have a very plain backdrop. That way, they can be decorated for each occasion’s special needs. By adding a few special pieces to a space, you can create an elegant setting for a very special day!

When decorating for a recent wedding reception, we brought in a great pair of lamps, a fabulous console table, and a simple mirror to the lobby of the old Cinema Theater. Next, we added fresh cut flowers to “seal the deal” for a beautiful space and a special day!

Lovely furniture and lamps set the tone for an entrance area.

Celebrations are about enjoying each other and enjoying your surroundings – no matter what the occasion!
