Ready, Arrange, Hang!
November 27, 2012 | Posted by: Linda Perrow

A group of similar pictures or photographs can look stunning when hung in a balanced position on a wall.

To achieve this, first arrange the pictures on the floor in a desired pattern. Be sure to always consider balance and proportion of the grouping. Then, hang the center picture on the wall or find the center of your grouping to begin hanging. Space other pictures the same distance apart from the center one. Always use a pencil when marking the spot for the picture hook. Use an art gum eraser to eliminate the mark.

Voila! A very good look using many small pieces of artwork.

Symmetrical positioning of drawings works well.

An asymmetrical grouping can still looked balanced.

Great use of a collection of pictures.

Different shapes and sizes make for a very interesting wall.

P.S. – My secret for success is Rick, one of our installers. It is always good to have a helper!
