Foyer Facelift

Recently I received a call from a client wanting to update parts of her home including giving her foyer a facelift. Lightening and brightening the space while still keeping it elegant was our goal. We started by selecting a large patterned wallpaper in neutral tones that would compliment the adjoining rooms and her art collection. The large scale print looks stunning going up her stairs and doesn’t call for artwork as it stands alone.

The contemporary wallpaper sets off the traditional style of the new mahogany chest. Hanging the client’s stunning artwork, placing a gold lamp and a decorative art glass bowl complete the look for the foyer. Decorative sconces in antique brass flank the front door and look amazing on the wallpaper.

The finished foyer is fun yet sophisticated
