Columbia, South Carolina.  For many of us, this is home and where Pulliam Morris has been in business for over 50 years.  It is not a particularly glamorous town and we can all attest to it being “Famously Hot!”.  But how fortunate we are here.  In around two hours or so in either direction you can have your toes in the sand or you can be hiking a mountain trail.  That makes this a great place to live and work.

Our clients often take us along to these places, giving us the pleasure of decorating their second homes.  They have experienced first hand our design excellence and professionalism.  Trusting our staff and sub-contractors, who help us complete our projects, gives them peace of mind with such a big investment so far from home.  This means we are all on the road a lot.

The creative process is just the beginning of a project.  The service end makes our design ideas a reality.  Beverly, Ashley and Laura spend countless hours at the office documenting every phase – pricing, ordering and receiving.

The men, however, are always on the road, often with back to back days going from one end of the state to the other.  These are their long days, installing draperies and furnishings, only to get home late, re-load, and start again the next day.  Their dedication, patience and humor makes them able to take orders from eleven women – who all think and work differently.

Rick never stops moving, and is always thinking one step ahead. He can fix anything.  David is always calm, always smiling, and happy to help in any way.  Bobby’s years of expertise and gracious manner make him an invaluable part of our team.
