France is a fabulous country to view art, appreciate architecture, and wonder over spectacular views! For an art major such as I was, my recent trip there was truly a wonderful experience. The chateaux, the cathedrals, the art museums, and the statues were glorious – not to mention the Eiffel tower in Paris…and the French wine!
The chateaux of the Loire Valley offered unending inspiration. Chambord, a hunting chateau in central France was used by kings in the 1500′s. It was breathtaking!
Biltmore house, in Asheville, online payday loans North Carolina, was inspired by the Chambord and the other chateaux of the Loire Valley. Mr Vanderbilt took a trip with his architect, Richard Morris Hunt, to France to get ideas for his American estate.
Even architecturally, the saying holds true - history repeats itself. Many have found inspiration from the chateaux of this beautiful country and hopefully you will too!
