A Custom Home – Maximizing the Small Spaces
November 20, 2013 | Posted by: Linda Perrow

One of the advantages of building a custom home is that every space can be utilized. Rooms can be designed to house existing pieces of furniture and family collections. A custom home not only meets the needs of the client now, but also allows for future needs.

In this particular home which was just completed, we incorporated extra storage near me into hallways and small, otherwise wasted walls.

Of course!

Lighted cabinets with glass doors serve as an interesting display area between the entrance hall and living room.

Black painted doors add flair when paired with the aqua and gold wallpaper in the entrance hall.

Narrow bookshelves fill in a transitional space in the hall from the living room to the study.

A small wall in the master bedroom is the perfect spot for a custom vanity!

Beadboard and hooks serve to organize the children’s coats and book bags in a hall leading to the powder room. The vibrant green paint is very durable to handle the wear and tear of the this growing family’s needs.
