2014: End of the Year Wrapup
December 11, 2014 | Posted by: lhough

charleston xmas _photo garland_resizedIt’s hard to believe that 2014 is coming to an end. I don’t know about you, but this year has flown by for us. When looking back over the year, I realize just how much we have accomplished and the thought of it makes me want to fall over out of pure exhaustion. Obviously, the Pulliam Morris team has been very busy.  Twelve months of blogging, posting on Facebook, a huge warehouse sale, installations, consultations, meetings with clients in the fabric room, color selections, contractor meetings … you get the picture. We are busy. But, the sheer numbers are astounding!

This year alone our designers and installers have been on at least 374 installations, almost half of them out of town. The PM team has posted 50 Blog Posts since January which is amazing! Our seamstress workroom has beautifully made 484 Pillows, 166 pair of  Draperies (That’s 588 widths of fabric!), and at least 35 Window Treatments for us to install. Of course, they are still burning the midnight oil finishing up projects for Christmas.

When hitting the road, we have driven thousands of miles in our cars and trucks for installations, markets, site visits, etc..  Just think, 2 trips to High Point Furniture Market, 1 trip The New York Gift Market and 18 trips to the Atlanta Decorative Arts Center (ADAC) in Atlanta. (I think our business manager is thrilled to see the price of gas going down.)

When I reflect on the year, it amazes me at the work that we have accomplished and the joy that it brings our clients. We are thankful for the work but most of all, we are thankful for you.Picture1

Little know fact: The number of bags of Candy Corn consumed by the Pulliam Morris designers who don’t have time to stop for lunch: 12.5
